Alex A Molinaroli is the President and CEO of Johnson Controls, Inc. He has served in this capacity since September 1, 2013 after being elected to the Board of Directors. He joined Johnson Controls in 1988 as a plant manager at one of its Mexican plants and rose through the ranks to become Senior Vice President for Operations & Engineering before assuming his current position.

He is also a member of the International Business Council at The World Economic Forum in Davos and a trustee of Washington University in St. Louis. He graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) with a degree in industrial engineering and received an MBA from ITAM, also in Mexico.
